Any warranty we give on your job, with its term and what it covers, is always set out in writing in the quote — so you see it in black and white before you agree. The warranty covers our own work: how we carried it out. Manufacturers' warranties on materials and appliances are passed on to you where they apply. If the quote gives no warranty term for (part of) the work, your statutory rights apply — and you keep those in any case: the work must match what was agreed and what you may reasonably expect of it.

Measuring up & requirements
We look at the room, measure up for the kitchen and discuss the layout, appliances, materials and what is technically possible.

Preparation & strip-out
The old kitchen is removed and the room is prepared for the new kitchen to go in.
- Step 3
Technical connections
Water supply, drainage, electrics and any ventilation points are checked and, where needed, altered.
- Step 4
Fitting & handover
Kitchen units, worktop, splashback, appliances and finishes are fitted, checked and handed over neatly.
Possible additional work
Depending on what is already there, additional work may be needed, such as extra electrics, moving sockets, altering the water supply or drainage, repairing walls, tiling, painting, floor finishing, ventilation or bespoke carpentry. We discuss this with you beforehand, and it is not carried out without your agreement.

Worktops can be included in the preparation and fitting, depending on the material chosen and the supplier. With composite, natural stone, ceramic or bespoke worktops, the measuring up, production or installation may be carried out by a specialist supplier. We agree this with you beforehand.
That depends on the work agreed. The existing kitchen can be taken out and the room prepared for the new layout. Any waste removal, repair work or changes to connection points are discussed beforehand and set out in the quote.
How long it takes depends on the size of the kitchen, the fitting, the worktop, the appliances, the connections and any preparatory work. A straightforward kitchen fit can be done relatively quickly, while a renovation involving wall finishing, electrics, water and drainage or bespoke work takes more time. Once we have assessed the job we can give a realistic schedule.
Within a kitchen renovation we can prepare or alter practical electrical connections, the water supply and the drainage. Larger alterations, new circuits or changes to the consumer unit are assessed separately beforehand.
If the measurements, the walls or the connections turn out to be different from what was expected, we discuss the possible solution with you before any extra work is carried out.
