The process, step by step
- Step 1
Assessing the room
We look at the substrate, the measurements, your choice of tile and the technical points that need attention.
- Step 2
Preparation
The substrate is checked, cleaned and, where needed, prepared for tiling.
- Step 3
Tile layout
We take account of sight lines, cut tiles, corners, edges and junctions.
- Step 4
Grouting & handover
The tiles are fixed carefully, after which the grouting, the sealant joints and the final check are finished off neatly.
Possible additional work
Depending on the situation, additional work may be needed, such as removing old tiles, repairing the substrate, levelling, applying waterproofing, fitting an uncoupling membrane, correcting the fall, preparing for underfloor heating or extra sealant work. We discuss this with you beforehand, and it is not carried out without your agreement.
