You're a young company — what does that mean for my project?

We are a young company with an experienced team. MULTI was founded recently by tradespeople who had each spent years working for themselves or at other building firms and who now work under one roof — together we bring 30+ years of combined hands-on experience in renovation, installation and finishing. The name is new; the tradespeople behind it are anything but.

Do you offer transparent pricing?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After a no-obligation site visit you receive a clear quote or price indication. Any additional work is always discussed with you beforehand and is never carried out without your approval.

How soon can you start?

For smaller jobs we can often start within 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the schedule and the materials. For larger renovations we always agree the start date with you in advance.

How long does a renovation take on average?

We give you a realistic schedule up front and talk through anything that could affect how long the work takes.

Can I stay in the house while the work is going on?

Accepted Answer

For smaller jobs the home usually stays perfectly liveable. With larger renovations — a bathroom renovation, a kitchen renovation or a complete home renovation — it depends on the schedule, the dust, the noise and access to water or electricity. We go through this with you beforehand, so you know what to allow for.

Do you offer a warranty on the work?

Warranty terms are set out in writing in the quote for each project. The warranty depends on the type of work, the materials chosen, the substrate and normal use. Damage caused by damp, movement, wear and tear, misuse or work carried out by third parties is not covered.

Which areas do you work in?

Accepted Answer

We work in Amsterdam, Haarlem, Amstelveen, Zaanstad, Almere, Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague and the surrounding areas. For projects further afield, we are happy to look at the options with you.

Do you use subcontractors?

Accepted Answer

Wherever possible we work with our own in-house team. Depending on the schedule, the specialism involved or the size of the project, we may bring in partners we work with regularly. Either way, you always have one point of contact: MULTI Klussenbedrijf.

Question 9

Which materials and brands do you choose?

Accepted Answer

We work with sound, reliable materials that suit the project, the budget and the way the room will be used. If you supply materials yourself, we check beforehand whether they are practical and technically suitable for the job.

Question 10

Do you clear up after yourselves?

Accepted Answer

We work as tidily as we can and leave the work area in good order. Removal of building waste is agreed in advance and stated clearly in the quote.

Is VAT included in the quote?

Accepted Answer

Our official quotes state clearly whether amounts are inclusive or exclusive of VAT. Where a reduced VAT rate applies, it is shown correctly on the quote.

Question 12

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

Our standard payment schedule is 30% at the start, 40% halfway through and 30% on handover. For smaller jobs we invoice the full amount after handover.
