We are a young company with an experienced team. MULTI was founded recently by tradespeople who had each spent years working for themselves or at other building firms and who now work under one roof — together we bring 30+ years of combined hands-on experience in renovation, installation and finishing. The name is new; the tradespeople behind it are anything but.

Yes. After a no-obligation site visit you receive a clear quote or price indication. Any additional work is always discussed with you beforehand and is never carried out without your approval.

For smaller jobs we can often start within 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the schedule and the materials. If you are a consumer, we only start within the statutory 14-day cooling-off period if you expressly ask us to: when you accept, or later via the link in your confirmation. For larger renovations we always agree the start date with you in advance.

We give you a realistic schedule up front and talk through anything that could affect how long the work takes.

For smaller jobs the home usually stays perfectly liveable. With larger renovations — a bathroom renovation, a kitchen renovation or a complete home renovation — it depends on the schedule, the dust, the noise and access to water or electricity. We go through this with you beforehand, so you know what to allow for.

Any warranty we give on your job — how long it lasts and what it covers — is set out in writing in the quote for each project; the term starts on the day of handover. If the quote contains no warranty, you have the rights the law gives you. A warranty comes on top of your statutory rights, which always remain. The warranty does not cover, among other things, normal wear and tear, misuse, insufficient maintenance or ventilation, not following our written advice, work by others, defects caused by materials you supply yourself, by your instructions or by the existing substrate or structure, or damage from damp or movement caused by something outside our work, such as a leak elsewhere in the building — unless we should have warned you about that risk.

We work in Amsterdam, Haarlem, Amstelveen, Zaanstad, Almere, Utrecht, Rotterdam, The Hague and the surrounding areas. For projects further afield, we are happy to look at the options with you.

Wherever possible we work with our own in-house team. Depending on the schedule, the specialism involved or the size of the project, we may bring in partners we work with regularly. Either way, you always have one point of contact: MULTI Klussenbedrijf.

We work with sound, reliable materials that suit the project, the budget and the way the room will be used. If you supply materials yourself, we check beforehand whether they are practical and technically suitable for the job.

We work as tidily as we can and leave the work area in good order. Removal of building waste is agreed in advance and stated clearly in the quote.

Our official quotes state clearly whether amounts are inclusive or exclusive of VAT. Where a reduced VAT rate applies, it is shown correctly on the quote.

Our standard payment schedule is 30% at the start, 40% halfway through and 30% on handover. For smaller jobs we invoice the full amount after handover.
